I found that Omega-3 fish oil worked for me. I use the liquid form so it is more concentrated and take 2-4 teaspoons a day. It took a month or two originally to tell that it was helping. The number and severity of headaches was greatly reduced and now on the rare occasions when I have a migraine, it is gone by the end of the day instead of lasting 2-3 days as it used to.
I tried feverfew, butterbur, 5-HTP, and a few other supplements but fish oil is the only thing that worked and continued to work for me.
