Thanks to all who responded to my inquiry. Taking a big does of quality calcium and magnesium last night really helped. The soap seems to help, too. But I lam a restless sleeper that the soap never stays anywhere near where I put it.
But I love the idea of an Epsom salt bath before bed. My feet shouted 'Yes!' when I read that suggestion. My sleep is not great apart from the cramps: I wake up too early- usually at 5:00 or 5:30.

It could be an adrenal issue but it could also be a circulatory issue. Have
you tried Epsom salts baths? Also Stress management can help greatly. How is
your sleep apart from the cramps? do you wake up rested?
Sincerely,
Dr. Olympia Dreszer
