There is so much hype about stem cells so it might be good for you to know
what the current facts are. This is the main conference this year and it is
in Pasadena October 3-5 2011.
Since I am feeling so much younger with my PEMF, which is assisting me in
making my own stem cells, I will wait for the stem cell industry to mature
for a couple more years, as I feel it is still too much of a gamble. Now I

Gil Van Bokkelen
Dr. Van Bokkelen co-founded Athersys in October 1995 and has served as CEO
and Chairman since August 2000. Dr. Van Bokkelen is Chairman of the
Alliance for Regenerative Medicine, a Washington D.C. based consortium of
companies, patient advocacy groups, disease foundations, and clinical and research
institutions that are committed to the advancement of the field of
regenerative medicine. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Governors for the
National Center for Regenerative Medicine, and serves on a number of other
boards, including the Biotechnology Industry Organization's ECS board of
directors, the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine and the Regenerative
Medicine Foundation. He received his Ph.D. in Genetics from Stanford
University, his B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley,
and his B.A. in Molecular Biology from the University of California at
Berkeley.

Andrew S. Grove
Translational Medicine: Key to Progress or Bridge to Nowhere?
Andrew S. Grove is Senior Advisor to Intel Corporation. Previously Grove
was Chairman of the Board of Intel Corporation from May 1997 to May 2005.
From 1987 to 1998 he served as the company's CEO and from 1979 to 1997 he
served as President. Prior to participating in the founding of Intel in 1968
with Robert Noyce and Gordon Moore, he worked as the Assistant Director of
Research and Development for Fairchild Semiconductor. He has served as
Patient Advocate at UCSF and was National Chair of the Campaign for UCSF. He was
a member of the board for the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Dr. Grove is an
advisor to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. He heads the Grove Foundation, a
private philanthropic organization and focuses on supporting research on
Parkinson's Disease.
2011 World Stem Cell Report More than 26 articles and 200 pages of
