I have never had dandruff in my 46 years, until a few weeks ago, when
my head began to itch like mad and my son noticed I had lots of dry
skin. My whole head doesn't itch, it's the very crown (which I have
scratched so hard I have made it sore!), and the lower back and side
of my head. I have a few annoying spots on my face which have gone
rather dry and insistently itchy. I normally tend to oily hair and
skin, so this is a complete reversal of its 'normal' state.
I do not use shampoo or conditioners or any products of any kind on my
hair, and haven't for about 5 years now, so I haven't wanted to put
any oil-based conditioning products on my head to relieve the dryness/
itch, because I don't want to have to revert back to shampoos or
conditioners.
Any ideas of why this may have cropped up and what I can do about it?
My head is driving me mad! 8 )
