My mother encouraged me to try using Borax and it works great! And to condition
my hair, she gave me about 1 spoonful of citric acid to dilute in one cup of
water to rinse my hair after washing it - making it silky and smooth.
I hope this helps.

Subject: [AlternativeAnswers] Warm water only to wash hair?
HI
I have just read the post on warm water only to wash hair and would like to ask
a couple of questions; do you need to use baking soda when you wash it and if so
how do you use it. Also how long does it take for your hair's natural balance to
return ie. do you have to put up with it being greasy for a while first?
I would love to be able to stop shampoo as i have psoriasis and it is not helped
even by the gentles baby shampoo
