you can heat water in the microwave. they make prepaid solutions, baking soda is added so the salt doesnt burn. There is new thinking you should use distilled water, so you dont get an amoeba. This just came out recently.

Do you warm the water up 'til it's at least body temperature (not hot enough to be uncomfortable!)? Put enough salt in it? -- and do you use a good salt with no chemicals in it?
