white or light yellow and sweet in taste, rich in starch content as
well. Potatoes are good source of carbohydrates, in addition to these
it contains dietary fiber, sugar, phosphorous, magnesium, copper,
calcium, zinc, potassium, sodium, manganese, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6 and
amino acids, fatty acids, which all contribute to promote good health.
Due to the presence of above vital nutrients, it is termed as one of
the best vegetable.

Potatoes health benefits includes; Potatoes are very helpful for the
people who want to gain weight as it provide much carbohydrates and the
small amount of proteins, as the starch of potatoes are easily absorbed
by the body due to the presence of Vitamin B and Vitamin C. Potatoes
improves digestion because the nutrients present are easily digested.
The presence of much dietary fiber also helps in digestive process and
promotes healthy digestion and prevents constipation. Application of
potatoes pulp with honey can heal skin disorders such as burns; cleanse
the skin as it is rich in zinc, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium.
