I am a doctoral student at the University of New Mexico.
I am conducting my dissertation on relationship satisfaction in individuals who meditate versus those who do not. I would like to post a link to my survey on your site. I am hoping to use the information I gather to design new interventions that will help people who are having problems within their relationships. I have the approval of the Human Subjects Research Committee at UNM to conduct this research. Here is the actual post:
Are you in a romantic relationship that has lasted
at least one year?
A survey is being conducted at the University of New Mexico. The purpose of this survey is to find out about how satisfied people are in their relationships and how relationship satisfaction may be related to a characteristic called mindfulness. The survey will ask about your relationship and about your experiences regarding your emotions and mindfulness. Your name or any other information that may be used to identify you will not be collected.
The survey itself will take about 15-20 minutes. You will not be paid for your time; however, you will have the option of entering your e-mail address after the end of the survey for a drawing for one of three Visa Gift Cards (one for $100 and two for $50).
You must be at least 18 years of age to participate.
