I grew up with tons of fresh lemon juice on everything, and have been using a fresh lemon juice salad dressing since childhood. At least one whole lemon squeezed over your salad (I actually use 1 1/2 to 2), a little bit of oil of choice (I prefer sunflower oil), and salt to taste. The ratio is usually about 2/3 of fresh lemon juice to 1/3 of oil, and salt to taste.
I make homemade salsa the same way...dice up tomatoes, onions, and cilantro, and use the same lemon juice/oil/salt ratio.
You may make a few faces before you get used to it....lol. But, like I said I grew up with it, so the tangier the better.
