Re: [AlternativeAnswers] Re: Cysts & other things

It depends, Which tests did you get?  did you already alter your diet before taking the tests?  My youngest is how we confirmed celiac for our family,  but the blood test did come back "negative"  often times that means there just isn't enough markers in your blood sample to make the test a positive.  What did happen is we changed her diet and she got and is getting better.  If she happens to get some gluten she has diarea for a couple days.  For me it is much milder, when I am on a gluten free diet my skin clears up and I start to feel alive again, but I have to stay vigialant for a couple months to see the results.  All of my children have it in one form or another.   In the Gluten Free for Dummies Book, it says to get accurate testing you would have to consume gluten twice a day for three months at least, but it also says in that time you will be hurting your body if you are gluten intolerant or Celiac.  It does force you to have an
extreamly healthy eating style so it can't be bad, as long as you do get your grains and such.

My test for Celiacs came back negative ... are these tests reliable?

I have a 'mild' Iodine deficiency as well as zinc, magnesium and Vit D deficiencies and at the lower end of 'normal' for Vit B12 and Ferritin. I'm also not absorbing nutrients or proteins from foods eaten. Could all of this be contributing and would taking Iodine help treat these cysts? If so, what is a safe dosage?
