Violence and Alzheimer's is not unusual. Although it is not always the case, often a patient will show signs or become very violent. It depends on what part of the brain is affected with the disease.
My father was one of the sweetest men in the world. Always had a smile and kind word. He got Alzheimer's and became very violent for a while and then the violence stopped.
Having also worked with Alzheimer's Patients, that it's not just a forgetful brain but is a dysfunctional brain which is expressed through this disease.
Namaste,
Akasha
