This amazing secret about baking soda.
This is for gum inflammation or gum abcess.
mix a teaspoon of sea salt and baking soda use a little drop of water to mix.
Then take a strip of clean cotton wool and put some of the mixture on
and apply to the sore area. Leave for a few hours .
In my case the swelling was quite big. It was very sore and was accompanied
by a headache and a swollen cheek Like a hamster who is storing food.
It took 1 1/2 hours before the swelling burst and with a herbal mouthwash
I got rid of the fluid and within minutes the headache went and the swelling subsided.
I think I caused the problem by too aggressive brushing with my electric toothbrush which may have had bacteria on the bristles!
But what a remedy.
The site I got the tip off had 400 people's stories. They had tried everything including varieties of antibiotics which didn't work and which likely damaged their stomachs. Then they found this inexpensive safe solution. There may be swellings which this compress technique does not work with but give it a go anyway...what's to lose?
The dentist I went to later wanted to do exploratory drilling...I just said no and now 7 months later it's fine.
