mineral deficiencies show up in the nails, the hair. You could have a test pf your mineral status.
then you could eat foods that contain a higher content of those you are missing.
A good seasalt or himalayan salt contains lots of minerals and micronutrients. Make sure the water
you are drinking is flouride free and as natural as possible.

Subject: [AlternativeAnswers] Fingernails
Hello,
Could someone please advise me on what is lacking in my diet? About 4 months ago, a family member was seriously ill, my hands were in and out of water all day long, making sure everything was clean and sanitized. Also, using vinegar, water, peroxide and EO's. Now my nails are growing slowly, then need filing, then break.
I don't know if the above information has anything to do with my nail problem, just mention it as that is when this started. Nails were strong and of nice length before.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
