Re: [AlternativeAnswers] different brands of milk of magnesia ??

you want magnesium chloride, It is spray on and that way more of the magnesium gets into the blood.
You just spray it on say your lower back or on the inner side of your arms and legs or on the soles of your feet,
Magnesium oxide has terrible up take. which means if you have a 500mg tablet and the product label
says 500 mg your body will only absorb 4%. so only 5 x 4 = 20mg.That is no use. The recommended
daily intake is 450mg if you are under stress you'd need to take 600-700mg. For some people who
have kidney problems or heart conditions you need to see your doctor.
Magnesium works better if you take vitamin B6 at the same time.In fact get a good B complex supplement. Last thing at night is good.
Most people are not getting enough magnesium.
Looking for vitamins make sure they are not synthetic(rubbish) preferably in a capsule. (to avoid eating stearic acid or other fillers and binders) at least 50 mg each. Definitely not sourced from GMO(genetically modified organisms) preferably from food source and organic.
Is the water you are drinking good quality?

Subject: [AlternativeAnswers] different brands of milk of magnesia ??

I've been taking magnesium for the asthma that cropped up again --
magnesium oxide tablets or magnesium hydroxide ("milk of magnesia").
The MOM says it only has magnesium hydroxide and purified water in
it, so I think I should stick to that, instead of all the additives
in the tablets (magnesium hydroxide is just magnesium oxide with
water added, which happens in the body anyway).

Been using the HEB store brand, which kinda sticks to the little
plastic cup. Got some Walgreens store brand -- it's slick / oily,
doesn't stick to the cup, and it tastes quite different. How can this
be?
