Re: [AlternativeAnswers] Fingernails

A good quality Vitamin for nails are B-complex, C-complex, A, E (alpha
tocopherol), D, calcium, zinc, iodine, biotin and iron. Magnesium helps
assimilation of vitamin C, B vitamins and protein. A good brand Multi-vitamin
will help. When our nails are not receiving enough of these vitamins, or when
our body cannot absorb them properly due to illness, stress or other
factors, they will begin to become brittle, dry, weak and dull. Apply and
massage Vitamin E oil on nails.

Specific Fruits and Vegetables for Nail Care - the include fruits and
vegetables - Avocado, apples, grapes, asparagus, cucumbers, garlic, green leafy

and is especially rich in Iron and Magensium. It contains around 2,000
enzymes, rich in chlorophyll, essential fatty acids. Spirulina offers the second
highest concentration, of the omega 6 fatty acid GLA (gamma linolenic
acid). GLA acts as an anti-inflammatory substance and has been shown to help
produce healthy skin and hair.

Horsetail and Oatstraw are both herbs that contain silica. Silica

Hello,

Could someone please advise me on what is lacking in my diet? About 4
months ago, a family member was seriously ill, my hands were in and out of
water all day long, making sure everything was clean and sanitized. Also,
using vinegar, water, peroxide and EO's. Now my nails are growing slowly,
then need filing, then break.

I don't know if the above information has anything to do with my nail
problem, just mention it as that is when this started. Nails were strong and
of nice length before.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hugs,
Buffy
