firstly- you would be best to have a consultation-face to face- with a  well known practioner- i can suggest you try him on a couple of glasses dasily of echinachea tea -hot  or  cold  sweetened with honey- it is hard to advice on such things without knowing his age diet and habits- if he is a nervous type add cammomile to the tea- you can mix it with a little fruit juice if he finds it unpleasant- make sure he drinks a min of 2 lts of water per day to flush out toxins as this can build up giving similar  symtoms-this is obviously  a bit scratchy thats why he needs to see someone in person esp if he  has an allergy to nuts and allergies can just appear without prior warning
