This latest proclamation by Los Angeles City Council voted 14 - 0 in FAVOR of Meatless Mondays. This is simply profound! Check out this direct link to the PDF file, sharing part of the proclamation signed by the City Council.
Even the United Nations are backing this up, claiming the entire World should go Vegan Just so enough food can be grown to keep people from starving while reducing Greenhouse effects from factory farming of animals that need 10 times the amount of land to raise the same amount of food for humans.
We are directing this effort at the impoverished communities of LA, and I have lately been extensively working with "Food not Bombs", creating free vegan potlucks with all foods donated by local Farmers Markets and other concerned people.
We feel this is a great direction for the entire World to adopt and LA joins a host of other major cities in this important step toward sustainability, while making the World a safer place with a more compassionate attitude toward our animal relatives by reducing our carbon footprint. Go VEGAN!!!
