Benefits of White Tea;
In General, Green Tea, Black Tea and tea prepared with Chamomile provide
various health benefits. White tea also provides more health benefits
than green and black tea.
White tea is supposed to be originated from China, where
it is commercially cultivated. Now white tea is getting more popular
in the United States of America, North America, and becoming very
popular in other parts of the world including India. White tea is one
of the most expensive teas among tea brands.
White tea is made out of leaves and buds of the plant known as Camellia
Sinensis, and the same are exposed to sunlight naturally before the tea
leaves are processed. White tea is less oxidized than other tea brands.
White tea leaves and buds are best harvested during spring season.
It is grown and harvested in Taiwan, China, Western Countries, and
Thailand. During the process of making this tea, the leaves and buds
neither steamed nor fermented. When white tea is prepared, it looks
light yellow in color and not white as the name denotes.
White tea is fully loaded with antioxidants and contains traces of
caffeine but with good aromatic fruit flavor. The sliver fuzz of the
leaves changes to white in color after drying of the leaves and buds for
tea making.
