It is this plants extract that is used in some products for skin cancer. I have heard you can put the plant extract right on the skin, but must avoid it getting contact with the eyes and mouth. It is an the glycoalkaloid that is killing the cancer cells.
(Products that contain glycoalkaloid as the cancer fighter ingredient are Curaderm-BEC5 and Sunspot ES

there is a plant that grows wild in australian bush- a small -shrub - about 1 ft tall or so tho it may grow larger - i am unsure-it is prickly with a poisonous red fruit like a small tomato it is called the devils apple- if you rub the ruit on skin cancer it will remove it
