Re: [AlternativeAnswers] Moving Bowels......suggestions please

You can go to something like a senna tea, magnesium helps, or psyllium husks.
The senna tea works for me brew it the night before and drink before bed. Get up in
the morning and go.. Good luck she sounds like she is doing pretty good overall. Sara

My Mom is about 80 y/o--she is on blood pressure meds--she eats good--drinks a lot of fluids and is quit active.
For the last couple of weeks she has been complaining of bloating,
feeling like she has not fully evacuated when moving her bowels.
She normally has one or two good movements a day--so I'm not sure what to think of this.
I have given her MOM--Dulcolax Suppositories, prune juice.. nothing seems to work--she is still having some issues.
I was wondering if this might have something to do with the CT Scan which she had 3 weeks ago--she took that white chalky stuff and says she might not of gotten it all out? The scan was non eventful.
Her doctor has examined her--says nothing is wrong--but she is still feeling like she is clogged up-- I would like to try and get her bowels to move naturally for I would not want her to get impacted and have to go to a specialist/hospital to have anything removed .
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
