She should go to specialists. Like a specialist for edema and the
lymphatic system. Edema can be the result of medication, or an underlying disease
like heart failure, kidney disease or cirrhosis of the liver. Was she
tested for cancer. Another possibility is a bacterial or fungal infecton from
the Lyme disease. Grave's Disease is an autoimmune disease related to the
thyroid gland. It can be anything so she needs to see a good doctor
specialist who will not right her off. The specialist can refer her to other
specialists and tests to take.

Her nipples have turned very dark - almost blackish - and have gotten kind
of scaly and dry and rough. she also has had burning sensation in her
