[AlternativeAnswers] Questions about Diverticulosis

 

Help?

I have just returned from having a colonoscopy.. The Doctor said I have Diverticuosis.
He told me to take, Mirolax, up to 3 times a day... For the rest of my life?
I don't feel like it is safe... Can you please help me with this?
I am very upset.. he has had me on a bland diet for, over 35 days now.
My stomach still swells..on the bland diet, it looks like I'm 5 months pregnant, when I eat anything.
What do I do?
What do I eat?
