Ahhh, the Winter Solstice...........or as the Mayan's called it the end of the world as we know it.
While yes I find some of this interesting and allot of it downright stupid, one can be walking across the street playing World of Warcraft or some such nonsense or even worse texting someone instead of actually talking to them face to face on a red light because they're not paying attention to the world about them and get run over by a car and die, so then the end of the world as they know it just happened and don't have to wait till Dec. 21st so IF the end of the world happens on that day, so be it. If not, then all of our lives are gonna go on as the did the day before so to all the "worry-warts" I say, sit down, shut up take a sip of Pepsi out of your "monstor mug", take a deep breath of fresh air and continue on with your life.
But as the comedian Dennis Miller is fond of saying: "that's just my opinion, but i could be wrong"
