Hi Lyndall,

Suddha Gugulu which is an Ayurvedic drug is good for collestrol, and Mukta
Vati is good for high blood pressure, you should check it out.

Congratulations Trish on your finding the ANSWER! I HATE going anywhere
near a Dr. Because all they want to do is push pills on to you. If I am
going to pop pills they are going to be Vitamin or Mineral supplements NOT
prescription drugs of any sort. My "Dr" wants me to go on to Lipitor and I
stoically refuse to do so, I know too much about the side-effects to risk
my
health any further. Unfortunately where I live we have a regular flow of
new
Dr's so having to recite all your history each time becomes the norm. And
you have little chance to build up any sort of relationship with one. The
last Dr I was able to build up some sort of rappor with was transferred
across State...grrrr. He had been so good and he completely understood my
preference to keep on as natural a health regimen as possible and even
encouraged me NOT to have any flu shots or other "shots" for that matter. I
do so miss him <sigh> The current Dr of course wants me to have a full
blood panel done ( which I had had done with the previous Dr who was moved)
and of course put me on Lipitor...NO WAY.

Cheers
Lyndall

Subject: [AlternativeAnswers] Hi. I'm a new member and want to introduce
myself

My name is Trish. I live in Front Royal, VA in the mountains just west of
DC.

About 7 years ago, I was diagnosed with Neuropathy in both legs and feet.
It wasn't until about 2-1/2 years ago that I found out it was most likely
the result of taking Lipitor for years. I was especially upset since the
Neurologist who made the diagnosis was aware of my medications and never
said boo about the Lipitor. I stopped taking it immediately and have since
regained some of the feeling in both legs and feet. Since that revelation,
I've been like a sponge finding alternatives to anything pharmaceutical.

I'm looking forward to learning more about Alternative Health Care options,
both for people and animals.

Thanks

Trish
