The dry eye is a very uncomfortable situation. Without moisture it feels
like a beach in the eye and causes a great deal of pain. I have been using
Restasis and Lotemax, for several months without relief. In addition I have
used several different OTC drops, with GenTeal being the best so far. I use
the gel at night, wear a mask and also use a humidifier, yet have the
continued problem. It's a constant nightmare. I understand dry eye is a
major issue with women and can be a relationship with hormones.
