Soak a teaspoon full of ayurvedic Triphala powder in a glass of water overnight. Strain the same in the morning, and splash this water in your eyes daily each morning.

warm regards

The spice saffron has recently been found( by western scientists at least) to be of special benefit to the eyes.
It is especially beneficial in preventing macular degeneration which results in blindness and is widespread
among the population.

Have you tried the eye drops that have L-carnosine and purified liquid (water) with vitamins. They go under the name Brite Eyes, and are supposed to cause the cataract to slowly dissolve. We have a cheaper one from Dr. Vision Formula.com. My husband has cataracts and we cannot afford eye surgery. Unfortunately medicare does not cover the lens implant he needs.

He has been using the drops about 5 months and he now can see the computer better and is able to walk in the dark at night. He fell down stairs before the drops. I have blurred vision in one eye and have tried his drops. They seem to work. I cannot afford an eye exam and treatment as I am 60 years old. I think I have a cataract, also. If we do not use them we find the vision gets worse. So the drops may be working. We paid about $20.00 for two vials about a 2 month supply.

Did you try any one of the charities? We have a free emdical exam for people over 62 from Eye Care America.com. They also give a once yearly exam free to people with DIABETES, once a year. Maybe they can refer you to a volunteer doctor. Also find a doctor with an easy pay plan. I know that can be hard. We have not found one. Ask for idigent status at a hospital, they will not offer if you do not ask. They look at your income tax to determine if you qualify.

Good Luck.

What I have dreaded has happend , and that is that diabetes would effect my eyes, because I knew I would never be able to afford any kind of sugery or laser surgery for my eyes, because I have no health insurance. I am frantically trying to try to obtain some affortable health insurnace, so I can pay for cataract sugergy

In the meantime I am hoping and praying I can find a non-surgical product to prevent me for possible going blind (which is constanly on my mind because I am a single father, and my kids most likely will be taken away from me(foster home).Cataracts in diabetics can progress very fast(they generally do) in diabetics. Especially if you cannot control your blood sugars. You can be blind within a year.

Any positve experience you may have or someone that you know may have had with a product that has been effective in the treatment of cataracts, please, please, please let me know. I have tried many

You can google all of them) I have taken them all at one time for about 3 months. I may not have taken them long enough. If anyone who is a memember of the group that has gotten any postive results from the taking of any one of the 3 eyedrops that I have just mentioned please share your story with me, because I am looking for hope of any product at the very least halting these cataracts so I can find some health insurance. Any advice, any opinion, anything you tell me that you think that would be helpful to me I will be appreciative and eternally grateful for anything you can tell me. That could possibly help me save my sight Thank you.
