Re: [AlternativeAnswers] Fw: Rick Steves: Inside Iran

Hi,

I suppose, as a general rule in our lives, it is a healthy approach to distinguish between politicians/governments (medial informations) from particular country - and people of that country.

As we in Poland, at least some of us, try to distinguish between the politicians of Russia and russian great people. As you might know russian rulers occupied polish territory for dozens of years in the past - still the russian common people are great, good collegues and privately - very friendly open minded folks.

It just some power hungry guys in governments who corrupt ppls minds for centuries.

Off Topic but:

I lived through WWII in the UK and I make it a point to distinguish the
Nazis from the German people.
Today in the United States, I distinguish the American government from
the American people.
