[AlternativeAnswers] Evolutionary Aspects of Breast Cancer

Evolutionary Aspects of Breast Cancer

The following information was channeled sometime back in 2000 but I find it still very relevant today. For the October Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I chose to share it with you.
The rising incidence of breast cancer in modern society reflects the evolutionary process that women need to go through as a gender based community. It reflects the collective consciousness that was created when women chose silence over rebelling against definitions and role models that contradicted their intrinsic essence, destiny and missions.
It reflects the inner conflicts that arose when women tried to forcefully make a place for themselves in a patriarchal world, adopting male based patterns not their own as they attempted to survive in a male dominated world. This distorted their self-perception and the essence of their being, their true nature and the quality of female type giving, symbolically represented in the breast as an organ of giving and nurturing.
Women tried to maintain the female orientation towards the domestic while simultaneously trying to develop male style giving patterns in the world outside the family. This created conflict that became unbearable and uncontainable.
The right breast- the heart of the conflict is the womans attitude towards herself in a male dominated world.
The left breast- the conflict centers around guilt and issues regarding nurturing men and children.
Historically, male domination and the consent of both genders, each to accept distorted role models caused separation; Separation between the genders and separation of each gender from its intrinsic essence and universal mission.
The prevalence of breast cancer is a reminder that women must personally and collectively evolve. They must redefine their place in relation to men, children and society as a whole. They must retrieve their inner truth, the truth they carry inside them since the beginning of all.
The point of separation must become a point of connection and power. Women must connect to each other and revive the memory of female power found inside them. They must stop punishing themselves for the concession, the loss and the failure to be something that is not their own.
In the personal context, each women must clarify these issues with herself.
The prevalence of breast cancer and the change in consciousness it has provoked is intended as a reminder of the broad gender based connotations and to call our attention to the gender based evolutionary lessons.
