Flower Power: The Healing Power of Flowers

This week I will be discussing the work and energy behind "Flower
Power". Not only is it a phrase from the 60's associated with peace
and the hippie movement, I find the phrase, itself empowering! So
this week I am going to explore the nature of "Flower Power"!

The essence of flowers has a subtle, aromatic or visual impact on those who pay attention. The vibrational energy emitted from flowers tells a story of it life from beginning to end. They can bring such joy or comfort and offer their magical medicinal properties to all those who wish to partake of them. Below are just a few samples of the power of flowers!

Dandelion: Dandelion Root can be made into a bitter tea (don't
sweeten it, the bitterness is how it works – you'll get use to it) as
an excellent tonic for the liver and blood purifier. Dandelion roots
are very high in vitamins and minerals. The common dandelion is an
unusually nutritious food. Its leaves contain substantial levels of
vitamins A, C, D, and B complex as well as iron, magnesium, zinc,
potassium, manganese, copper, choline, calcium, boron, and silicon.
Worldwide, the root of the dandelion has been used for the treatment
of a variety of liver and gallbladder problems. Other historical uses
of the root and leaves include the treatment of breast diseases,
water retention, digestive problems, joint pain, fever, and skin
diseases. The most active constituents in dandelion appear to be
eudesmanolide and germacranolide, substances unique to this herb.

Jasmine: Jasmine is a bold, sweet scent. Jasmine is the greatest
aphrodisiac of all. These night blooming flowers are picked at their
height to bring out one of the most sexy scents. Associated
throughout history with the compassionate Goddess of the Moon,
Jasmine, grown along the Nile in ancient Egypt, is represented Isis,
the Egyptian Mother Goddess who held the secrets of fertility, magic
and healing.

Milk Thistle: Milk Thistle is the best in cleaning our blood and
liver and is a traditional way to get our health back on track and
revitalize and nourish our entire internal ecological system from the
ravages of winter. Milk Thistle is an excellent cleansers for the
liver. Cleansing is one of the more important roles of Milk Thistle

If you have diabetes then you know how important it is to try to keep it under control as best you can. There are many ways to control diabetes, and many things you can do on your own. If you are in any type of medication, must be to have each time you need. Even if you have a steady income, many pharmaceutical companies that can provide medications at no cost to you, and the shapes are quite simple and direct statements.

If you are planning a trip, make sure you plan ahead, and medication for more if necessary. Be sure to bring some type of insulin pen, which does not need refrigeration, and travels well. Just because you have this illness does not mean you can not eat in restaurants, but be smart about your food choices. Read the ingredients closely and try to follow low-calorie options. You can have vegetables you want, but if you choose for a salad, make sure you order the dressing on the side, then you can dip the salad instead.

Enjoy your food slowly, and try to take home the leftovers. You can also avoid eating a meal by ordering more than half if possible. Be sure to monitor levels, thirty minutes before eating, and one hour after meals. Also beware that you are eating when they are supposed, because if you are not eating properly, this could lead to more problems later.

Exercise regularly, a good cardiovascular work out can be in simple shapes, such as walking or bicycling. It is important that you get at least thirty minutes of exercise a day, either in a gym or at home. You need to keep your weight and eating a healthy diet to prevent heart disease. Read food labels when shopping in grocery stores, check the calorie content, so the portion sizes are and adhere to these a la carte.

There are many other valuable resources to help you manage your diabetes. You can find many useful tips and information on the Internet, and their doctor. Make sure you talk to your doctor before changing your diet or exercise routine and keep in touch with him about their levels of blood sugar, as well as the number of hemoglobin A1c. This is important in case they need a dose of the medication or adjust in other areas.

You do not have to let diabetes control your life, if you are doing what they do. Be informed about your diabetes, educate yourself and those around you, who may try to tempt you know things are bad for you. When I was pregnant with twins I read Adelle Davis book called 'Lets
Have healthy Children" and she said the way to stop indigestion and
acid reflux is take B vitamins, I took B vitamins in tab form and I also
took brewers yeast. I never ever had the problem again.I had another
pregnancy after that and I never ever had the problem ....because of the
B vitamins. Some vitamins can relieve acid reflux symptoms.
Vitamin B1 (Thiamine)Dramatic insufficiency of Vitamin B1 causes
beriberi, which results in weak muscles and vomiting. The increased B1
aids the esophagus sphincter and relieves some of the back up of stomach
