We clean a lot with vinegar. I have different spray bottles with different dillutions of vinegar. I even have a couple of bottles as straight vinegar. I am disabled and NOT the best house cleaner. I have to admit that our drafty older home does not suffer as much from bugs as some of our friends who have newer, less drafty homes. We have friends who have ants every year. We have only had ants in our home once since we moved in in 2000.
We never knew why we were so lucky, but it must be the vinegar.
Now we do have silver fish in the basement by the washer and the drain hole in the floor. How do we get rid of them? Do I add extra vinegar in the damper areas or is there something else I should do?
