I occasionally get constipted. I have taken Aloelax with aloe and fennel as
a laxative. I noticed Swiss Kriss works faster for me.

[AlternativeAnswers] Re: Aloe vera capsules...

Aloe Vera purportedly helps with digestive issues, particularly acid reflux, but the most remarkable effect for me was on psoriasis. After a few months of taking Aloe Vera capsules, & occasionally some juice, my psoriasis has disappeared. Be sure, in choosing a product, that it is whole leaf, not just inner gel, organic, certified by the international aloe council, and preservative-free.
There is much info about aloe to be found on the internet.

Aloe vera can be taken by mouth to treat symptoms of osteoarthritis, bowel
diseases like ulcerative colitis, fever, stomach ulcers and digestion, for
constipation, diabetes and asthma. Anti-Inflammatory and Pain Reduction.
Externally woothes and heals skin irritation and wounds. Some people drink
aloe vera gel or juice, but the plant can also be taken in capsule form for
convenience.
