[AlternativeAnswers] LABEL GMOS BALLOT INITATIVE

LABEL GMOS BALLOT INITATIVE
We need to get the food companies to at least label their foods
if they are genetically altered. We have nutritional info on our
foods, why not GMO info.?
Please help pass this initiative by getting involved. We may not be able to stop the food companies from producing GMO foods but we can certainly get them to label their packages.

[AlternativeAnswers] White willow Health Benefits

White Willow Bark Health Benefits:

White willow plant is generally grown and found in Europe, North
America, and botanically called as Salix Alba. White willow herb and
bark were used to treat inflammations and fever, as home or herbal
remedy in combination with other alternative treatments, since ancient
times by the People of China, Europe and America. The medicine, Aspirin
is derived from the white willow herb. Aspirin works fast to provide
relief while white willow works slow to provide relief, but produce
long lasting effect.

The active constituent found in white willow herb or bark is known as
glycoside salicin, which is absorbed and metabolized as salicylic acid
in the body, which acts anti inflammatory, controls fever, and relieves
pain. The glycoside salicin is chemically akin to synthetic
acetylsalicylic acid, the active ingredient of aspirin. White willow
herb is also called by other names, such as salicin willow and weeping
willow by the people of America and Europe.

Let us discuss some of the white willow health benefits; generally
white willow bark powder is given to reduce fever and pain, as it
provides relief due to its anti inflammation property. White willow is
termed as natural aspirin and milder than aspirin on stomach lining and
produces lesser anticoagulant action than synthetic aspirin. As per the
recent studies, conducted in traditional medicine, white willow herb or
bark powder is very effective for reduction of joint pain, rheumatoid
arthritis pain, and low back pain, when taken as per the dose suggested
