RE: [AlternativeAnswers] itchy head & neck - Tea Tree Oil

Hi Andrea

It is possible to buy tea tree oil as a shampoo. But you can dilute 100% tea tree oil, 5% tea tree oil and95% water. This will give you a very gentle wash and should not dry out your hair.
Hope it works for you. I try tea tree oil first for many things, cuts, chapped skin, pimples - a dab of 100% oil on the spot a few times a day gets rid of it, diluted it is a great skin toner. Experiment a bit with tea tree oil - you will find lots of benefits and it is natural.
Best of luck

Re: [AlternativeAnswers] My teens hormones..ugh

Xiao Yao Wan is a great traditional Chinese herbal formula. You can
find it at most Asian food stores. It's great for various forms of
depression, but for these types of issues in particular.

It's quite safe too. I don't remember all the ingredients but they're
all like peppermint, orange peel, licorice root, ginger. Stuff like
that. It's not gonna be a bunch of weird chemicals that will alter your
brain chemistry. It moves liver qi and tonifies spleen. LOL
Xiao Yao San is the more common name and refers to the powdered version,
which they sometimes put in capsules. Xiao Yao Tang would be the raw
herb version. You would boil the herbs in water and drink the water.
Xiao Yao Wan is the teapill format, which is the most common and
convenient method.
Acupuncture's great too, but this should help you out considerably.

> Hi all, I was wondering if someone could help..my teenage daughter is having a very hard time controlling her hormones when that time of month comes (she gets witchy, moody etc). We do not want to put her on prozac or anything like that. We give her all natural supplements& vitamins. Anyway when that time of month comes I was giving her Aleve which helps to a certain extent. Is there anything else that is all natural or a supplement that can help take that "edge" off? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jennifer
