Jojoba Oil Health Benefits Skin:

Jojoba oil is derived from the seeds of jojoba plant that is the native
of America, is cultivated commercially for its seeds, and the plant is
botanically called as Simmondsia chinensis, which is commonly grown in
southern parts of America, Mexico, Arizona and California. Jojoba oil
is golden yellow in color if it is pure whereas processed oil is
transparent and clear in color. Pure jojoba oil comprises of long
chains of monounsaturated liquid wax esters and has very long shelf
life when compared to the other vegetable oils like coconut and grape
oil because it has no triglycerides. Jojoba is also known as by other
names like, pig nut, wild hazel, deer nut, and coffee berry.

JoJoba oil is mainly good source of anti oxidants, and essential
Vitamin B complex constituents, Vitamin E, and minerals like silicon,
copper, chromium and Zinc, iodine and contains other traces of vital
minerals, phytonutrients, vitamins etc, that contribute to provide
health benefits. Jojoba oil is extensively used in aromatherapy for its
medicinal properties.

Jojoba oil health benefits skin are; jojoba oil is found to be similar
to that of human sebum, which is produced by the sebaceous glands of
skin. Human sebum comprises of wax mono esters similar to that of
jojoba oil, and due to this property, this oil is used as substitute as
it provides similar benefits as that of human sebum. As it is non
allergic, non toxic, non irritant in nature, it can be used safely even
around the eyes and used as external application to heal skin rashes
and disorders.
