[AlternativeAnswers] Information about a compound called HZ

I was at a seminar in which the natural compound call HZ was being discussed concerning cancer treatment.
A enzyme with-in the liver, called, cachexia apparently produces this HZ.
I was wondering if any one has any information on this or has even heard of it.
Being a holistic/alternative oncology nurse, I was just wondering about it, since this is the first seminar which I attended in which this was mentioned.

Also if any one has read the book written by: Dr Allan Spreen, titled
Tomorrow Cancer Cures Today--is there any truth in the context of his writings?

Your opinions/thoughts would be appreciated.

Some woman do have the bleeding but to put your mind at rest have her get
checked it will stop any guessing. It maybe a sign but you will know one way or another.

Hi,

My wife just turned 50. She had stopped getting her periods over a year back. After a recent trip she's been spotting and our Guru says its nothing to worry about and we should wait for a month or two see how things go then approach a Doctor as required. Read somewhere recently that post menopausal bleeding is not a good sign, as I'm a bit worried thought of posting here for advice.

Good Morning!

Recipe: Tofu Quiche with Leeks and Mushrooms

This is an excellent twist on your basic French delight that is not only dairy free but low in fat and is also a perfect meal for vegetarians.

Ingredients:

-1 pound firm tofu
-3 leeks, washed and sliced into thin half moons
-2 cups sliced mushrooms
-1 tablespoon olive oil
-3 cloves garlic, minced
-2 tablespoons lemon juice
-1 tablespoon Tamari
-1 tablespoon Dijon-style mustard
-1/4 teaspoon white pepper

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Warm oil in a large skillet. Add leeks and garlic and saute for approximatley 2 minutes or until leeks just begin to wilt. Add your mushrooms and continue saute for about 6-8 minutes, until soft. Blend together tofu, lemon juice, Tamari, mustard and white pepper. Blend until smooth. Fold the tofu mixture into the veggies. Pour into a lightly greased 9" pie plate. Bake for 45 minutes, or until lightly browned around the edges and the edges start to pull away from the sides.

This dish can serve 4 people. It only takes about 30 minutes to cool and everything is ready in about 1 hour. Your yummy quiche can be served with a crisp green salad with olives, pickles, radishes and tomatoes.
