Re: [AlternativeAnswers] Rise in fungal infections and global warming

Richard,Who reported a rise in CO2? Is that the same everywhere? How do you know there is a rise in fungal infections worldwide?Planting more trees seems like a good idea. What type of trees? Are they all equally beneficial?David

With the recent reported increase in CO2 of several parts per million in the atmosphere, this is a field day for fungal infections like candida, which, like our ever-threatened plant life, live off carbon dioxide. This (apart from the aging process) is no doubt why they are more virulent in response to e.g., sugar consumption than we grew up to expect.

Plant trees for a more sustainable future environment.

Re: [AlternativeAnswers] cyst on eyelid

I have a similar growth near my eye on my nose. I found the duct tape with iodine has reduced it by 75%. It is going and I expect it to be gone soon.As it is working for you just carry on till it 's gone. Some people have them cut out but that can be very expensive.

I was diagnosed with a cyst on my left upper eyelid, on the lid margin about 6 weeks ago. I was doing warm compresses and had an antibiotic cream/anti-inflammatory cream given to me by my optmotrist. Well, it has been 6 weeks, and the cyst has reduced. It was small to begin with, and now it is a flat like lesion.

It seems to be taking a long time to heal. I have an appt with an eyelid speicalist but not until January. The optometrist thinks it will be gone by then.

In the meantime, does anyone have any tips on how to get rid of this naturally?

Cindy

[AlternativeAnswers] Re: new here questions about herbs for perimenopause

You have many options as far as natural therapeutics are concerned. Not only with herbs, but with supplements and homeopathics as well. The difficulty is that it sounds like the bleeding has been heavy for some time, and thus obviously concerning.
You might want to consider seeking professional help, a good acupuncturist (who specializes in Gyn issues), a naturopath and/or a Functional based physician. Each has their relative strengths and weaknesses. As it can be rather overwhelming you are welcome to write me offlist if you have any questions.
Be well, Tymothy Smith, L.Ac.
